Today is another great day! I slept early last night and luckily, I had the sweetest breakfast of the week: freshly baked delightful bread - the surface is delightfully spread with generous amount of butter and sprinkled with sugar. It tastes so sweet but you could still taste the salty sensation from the butter.  It's actually an ordinary round bun that you could always find in any regular bakery or even in a convenience store but this bread can only be found at Baker's House.  It's definitely a bread shop that has the "X" factor. It's located at my apartment compound and the owner lives in the housing for the rich at the back of my apartment building. Though I am not a "bread" kinda guy, (I'm more like a "rice" person - so Asian) I am so deeply in love with Baker's House.

Magical Sleepy Dust

After munching on two kinds of bread, I felt sleepy and yawned many times. Why do we yawn when we are sleepy? Do sleep fairies cast a spell on us and sprinkle the pixie dust while we yawn to make us feel sleepier? That remains a mystery! Carrie Bradshaw also felt the same thing as I do now - after spending the night at Manhattan hot-spot, she had to explain everything to her dad in the early morning regarding what had  happened the night before. She is 16, taking an after school - one day/week internship in wonderful Manhattan island. She accidentally met her dad inside the club during one of her unlucky nights -  totally busted!

Manolo Busted

Carrie Bradshaw's First Manolo Blahnik

Prior to the busting scene, Bradshaw has just obtained her very first branded item, which she got as a gift from Interview Magazine after she modeled her long skinny legs for a shoe catalog. She later discovered the gift as a new pair of Manolo Blahnik - she didn't even know how to pronounce it at first. She was thrilled not because of its brand but that's just a common reaction of girls getting a cute glittering stuff. Something big also awaits her. Later on, after the photo shoot was done, she was asked to come to a party in... of course.. Manhattan.. D'uh.

Good Girl Gone Cosmo

She was just staying in the corner with her two friends and suddenly a guy caught her attention. After juggling her mind about talking to a cute stranger, she confronted him eventually. The modern prince doesn't do guitar serenade anymore, instead they buy you something. In this not-fairy tale story, the prince charming insisted to buy her a drink and this young lady with bushy curly hair couldn't say no to it. After the first sip, she asked the name of the drink (she seemed to like it - she finished it real fast, as if it was mineral water) and I giggled in happiness... the truth was revealed... it was Cosmopolitan.
